Billie Bean Song | Whole Wheat Banana Bread Recipe | Model of Bowsers Farm
G'day, I'm Billie Bean. You probably haven't heard my secret about my adopted brother, Bowser. I haven't told anyone about him, not even my friends. He lives on a farm near here. At the farm he works and rotates the crops. Tomorrow I'm going to see him. I'll ask my friends if they want to go but that means telling them my secret about my brother. Hopefully they won't mind about me keeping him a secret. I went to tell my friends and like I said they didn't mind at all.
The next morning all my friends and I walked to Bowser's farm and when we arrived he was rotating the crops, by planting Buckwheat. "Wow," I said, "I never knew it took so much work to do that." "It's not that simple." He answered. My friends and I were amazed at how muscular he was. My friend Wally Wheat asked, "How did you get so muscular? Is it from working, cause we don't work and we aren't muscular?" "NO," he said, "Its Wheat Bix, which makes everyone really strong. Do you want some?" "No thankyou," said Billie,"We'd like you to show us how rotating the crops is done." "Ok then," he said, "Last year I planted wheat and this year I am planting Buckwheat for green manure. Next year I plan to plant wheat followed by three successive plantings of grass and clover. The final crop will be corn and potatoes before the schedule is repeated. After four years, each schedule is planned to rest or restore the fields."
First we helped him dig lots of holes to plant the Buckwheat seeds. After an hour we were really exhausted so we sat down and all of us shared his Wheat Bix. They were really nice. "I better start having Wheat Bix every day so i grow muscles like you," I said to Bowser.
"Great," he said. "It takes a while to grow muscles though so don't get too anxious for them to pop up." "Well, thanks again. Oh, look at the time! I never knew it would take that long. Bye."
Did you enjoy listening about our trip to Bowsers farm? My friends and I enjoyed going there. We'll definitely go again soon. See you next time. |
