If the Jones managed to produce 4 tonnes of seeds per hectare of paddock, and the paddock was 100 hectares in area, how much extra money was the wheat worth this year? Hint: First work out the value of one hectare of wheat, then multiply this by the area of wheat on the farm. Now can you see why Wally's so pleased with himself? |
