Petra Pea is a roving Investigative Reporter. At the moment she lives next door to Downsanup Downs.

Her main aim in life is to find a way to defeat that Evil Pea Weevil.

Likes: farmers, enough rain at the right time of the year, investigating things

Dislikes: growing in the same ground two years in a row, waterlogged soil, the Evil Peaweevil (see episode 17)

Favourite Bacteria: rhizobia - "they give me all the nitrogen fertiliser I need"

Worst Moment: "being attacked by the Evil Peaweevil " (see episode 17)

Best Moment: deciding to dedicate myself to the defeat of the Evil Peaweevil.
